I made some eggs this morning and sprayed some non-stick spray in the pan it turned brown and won’t wash out? What caused this to happen? Any recommendations on how to clean it?

Did you set your heat too high? If its a non stick pan its probably shot. If its stainless or bare metal you might be able to use a brillo pad

TexDawg is spot on with the highheat being the contributor of the non stick demise. Its low and slow with eggs with a tablespoon of bacon or sausage grease as the lube food peep

I bought a new non stick grill that so NOT to use non stick spray because it leaves a coating that ruins the non stick coating that instructions were to brush light coating of vegetable oil instead of a spray.

I never had one last very long. Accidental scratches are usually my downfall. I keep buying them because it's the only way I can make an omelette.
