Just installed new unit up front with DI transducer on trolling motor. Trying to setup unit with boat in garage and CHIRP not showing on any menus. What am I doing wrong?

It should already be turned on. When you go into the menu to select your beam, does it give you a high and medium choice showing a range for each or just show 200, etc?

If it isn't on already go into settings tab and make sure you have advanced selected and towards the bottom there should be a place to turn chirp on our off.

You're right, it was on. I just can't pick frequencies as I saw in a You Tube video, therefore I thought it wasn't on. Something still isn't right but it does say "2D Chirp".

It just shows "Low, High, or Low/High". In the video they were able to put in a number.

You can choose how much of each CHIRP range to use.
One range is 175-225 kHz.

Example, you can select to only use 195-200 kHz, just one frequency like 180 kHz, etc.

Where is this choice. Don't see it in my menu.

under the sonar tab you should have a setting for a imaging display frequency which is for DI and 2d dispaly frequency setting

My menu choices are: low, high, or low/high. No numerical choices.

Have you read the manual?

Default for USER MODE is ADVANCED, did you change that to Normal?

You have a Frequency Spectrum setting. Select it and you will get the adjustable ranges.

Okay,found it! Thanks, Wayne. I did it go back and look at manual again and still don't see it it in manual. Sorry.

Page 24, 25, 26 and 27 show the Frequency Spectrum menu item.
