Is there any good place to bank fish around PK? I've been told behind the damn was a possibility, but never been. Any help appreciated.

I appreciate the help. I just moved to the pk area. I'd like to try and bank fish some, since I don't have a boat. The place is so big, I just don't know where to start. Thanks again

Flip the shallow saltcedar bushes is all you need to do. Been there all year. Yellow majic early, or a black midnight special spinner bait, then a Motoroil red flake Berkly Power worm till your arm falls off.

After fishing for four hours and catching 6 three weeks ago, wife was having trouble backing trailer down and I caught two on the rocks around BRA 1 (which made her even madder that I was jacking around). There was some flooded bushes to the west of the ramp that looked pretty good and should be good this time of year. T rigged baby brush hog watermelon red. Good luck

Another idea for Sunday to jump start you on your PK fishing would be to go the ramp where they are doing the Texas High School Bass Assn tourney weigh in, there should be about 700 bass released on Sat at that ramp.

I agree.....I have a place at PK and my next door neighbor fishes after the weigh ins and does great. I forgot to ask my grandson where the High School weigh in is Saturday.

I just remembered something, North D&D has a ramp and camp grounds. As you go into that area that the road to your right and you'll see houses on the other side with docks. I remember last year we went in there to catch perch for some jug lines, it was full of perch and caught some decent bass, easy to cast towards those docks. Didn't fish the ramp side but, it looked pretty good. You might give that a try.

Went out to PK and went BRA 4N. Around the boat ramp it said NO fishing or swimming. Went over to BRA 4S and same thing, although there was a dedicated fishing pier there. Are all the BRA ramps the same with NO fishing on/around the boat ramps?

They "frown" upon fishing around ramps and courtesy docks but I have never seen anyone get ran off either. I was always told by other dock fishermen to move over when a boat is loading/unloading and carry on fishing when they leave. You should be good

Ok, thanks. I have no problem stepping aside during a launch. I was wondering if any legal measures could be taken for not following sign? There wasn't a single boat launches on the BRA 4N ramp, but I didn't chance it.
