Anything else you'd like to share? Reason for you to say this?

Highly addictive, extremely dangerous if taken with other medications, and will have adverse effects on mood, personality and decision making even if taken by proper direction. Steer away, steer far far away.

More addictive than crack.

Alprazolam, available under the trade name Xanax, is a potent, short-acting benzodiazepine anxiolytica minor tranquilizer.[2] It is commonly used for the treatment of anxiety disorders, especially of panic disorder, but also in the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) or social anxiety disorder.[3][4] It was the 12th most prescribed medicine in the United States in 2010.[5] Alprazolam, like other benzodiazepines, binds to specific sites on the GABAA receptor. It possesses anxiolytic, sedative, hypnotic, skeletal muscle relaxant, anticonvulsant, amnestic, and antidepressant properties.[6] Alprazolam is available for oral administration as compressed tablets (CT) and extended-release capsules (XR). After reading the specifics about Xanex, "anxiety treatment," I've realized that there is a better treatment...the woods, fresh air, hike, fish, trail ride, or go lay on a blanket near a river or lake, away from traffic, noise and phones, in other words, Mother Nature is a great anti-depressant or anxiety remedy. Not to minimize any person who seriously considers taking Xanex, or other anxiety medication, but a real change of scenery and mind-clearing might do the trick. ...wisdom

I was dating a gal that took it quite regularly and she was pretty crazy on it but was even more crazy when she was off it so I guess it worked a little bit. She was able to do the job though.

My dad was prescribed it. When we tried to take him off it almost killed him and accelerated his slide into Alzheimer's/dementia.
Don't do it.

http://www.jigsawhealth.com/supplements/magnesium/Try some Magnesium first..... You most likely need this anyway. It will help with anxious feelings.

Don't do it. My 93 year old grandma was on it for 30 plus years (until this last year)...I could kick that doctor in the nuts.
