Where do you see the program going now with Jeff long / and probably bielema out this year, freshman qb indef suspended for alleged dwi?

I'm excited to see a whole program change the next few years as it hasn't gone anywhere since Petrinos few years. Lots of rumors of Malzahn or Memphiss norvell being possibilities

Malzahn ain't going nowhere. Les Miles or Brent Venables could be good fits.

Malzan has deep ties to arkansas, and would be a good one for arky. However it will be hard to take him away from Auburn at this point.

I read earlier today that Long has basically a 5M buyout. Ark will pay him 80K a month as payment until they pay it off. That's a pretty sweet deal for an AD.

I agree Malzahn isn't going anywhere. Butch Davis or Jeff Tedford would probably pretty decent gets for Arkansas. Davis has coached some big time college football turned FIU into a winner and Tedford has turned Fresno St around quickly.

Arkansas needs to move over to the Big 12. They got no shot in the SEC.

Bret Bielema is a good man and well liked as a person. He simply did not deliver as promised. It's time for a change.

Brent Venables from Clemson is being talked about a lot but...several schools with more clout are also looking at him.

I'd like Venables. Scott Frost or Mike Norvell would also fill the bill and potentially be great for the Hogs.

Arkansas was competing very well a couple years ago. I think Bret is a good guy and well liked in Arkansas. I do think they need to go a different direction to get a new start. I do think if they get a couple good years they will get the players to get back to top ten team. They will need a good new coach to get started back again. Brent Venables would be a good coach but he will be a highly sought after man by the bigger schools. He may get a job like Florida. I sure would like to see the Hogs get back to top ten again.

it was a bad move for Ark to move to the SEC. Everyone told them that they wouldnt compete moving out of TX for one and then playing in the SEC without as many TX players. I see Ark very similar to Nebraska who overestimate their clout. Even tho I think Ark is still in a better position than NE. ATM I think wasnt a bad move. They still recruit here and make a ton of money. They WILL compete in the SEC.
