Serj, Don't sweat it. Go to the ACC web site an order a new tip $20. She will be good as new. Dad and I have broke 3 tips and every one was operator error on our behalf. There are those that have and those that will. Nice Video!

Thanks Hogon and I here ya!!! I actually have a tip that came with my two 8 footers but I believe it is for a 10 or 12 footer because it doesn't fit the circumference of the 8 fter.

Just let ANDY know that and I'm confident he will get you taken care of.
It's nice having the option to get a tip at least.
I had one tip break where I thought I had a fish and instead it was a Christmas tree. I gave it a good pull up and the tree came up but then went flying back down right as a real nice boat wave came rolling through and Snap.
Dad had one of his break while we were fishing timber and he got hung up. He was hung up hit the trolling motor to move closer to the stump to see if he could get unhung and he hit the rabbit button by mistake while he had the trolling motor pointed 180 degrees the wrong way and in about 2 seconds SNAP.
Then on same trip he got hung up again. He grabbed his line and was going to do a simple break off. Except his Line had wrapped around the 3rd eye of his rod and neither of us noticed it. One good pull and in about two seconds SNAP.
We broke 3 rod tips in two trips. It happens.
Good news is I ordered tips and had them in 3 days.
We have been going strong ever since.

Man sometimes Murphy's law runs rampant on my boat too..lol!!!! Yeah Hogon I was thinking the same thing with Andy but I think I'll get a 10 fter and keeping this tip just in case and just go ahead and order one for the 8 fter
