Going to Rayburn and not familiar with the south end. If I launch at Twin Dikes can I run across the lake north to Five Fingers without issue? Staying at Rayburn Country so not much choice for ramps unless we trailer for 40 minutes (or so it seems on the map).
Thanks!

Yes, just watch for that man killer out in front of five fingers all by itself. The lake is up close normal so the stumps in five fingers should be well below the surface, I was in there Saturday.

go to youtube and search for "Ken Smith Sam Rayburn". He has a series of videos where he breaks the lake down into sections and shows you where you can run. He gives waypoints for known stumps and other issues to watch for. The videos are very informative.

Lance Vick Boat Lanes Chip and Ken Smith's videos are both good. Just running from TD to 5 fingers you shouldn't need them though, pretty well wide open at pool or above.

Pretty wide open at this level. As it drops there is a line of timber from five fingers to west wood ramp across the lake.

Sounds like once I get to the big water I can fly across then take it easy once I get to the mouth of five fingers. Thanks to all. No idea of where we are going to fish so wanted another option besides staying on the east side.

You are safe from Twin Dikes all the way up that side to Five Fingers and up to where Veach starts. There is timber around the island and in the bay of Veach.

You can run all in Five Fingers as well right now.
