Just wondered if everyone had a list of lures they could count on to catch fish.

I think a baits profile is the least important parameter in crappie fishing. You put the bait at the right depth, in the preferred color, and active crappie will bite.

When I fished Oklahoma, I used a lot of Gene Larew baits. Now in Texas, I fish mainly Slab Bandits and Thermocline Lures because they are local and WORK!!

Gotta give lane at constant pursuit a try. Tough baits, great selection of colors and styles.

The first 2 are from Crazy Angler, the last one, in the link, is Slater Jigs. I have the same colors in at least 6 different profiles and the Whatzit, from Slater, will out catch all the others.
