Switching to a 36V Trolling motor system and I need to get a 4 Bank charger now. What are some of your recommendations as far as brands for these chargers? Don't want to break the bank but I also want a good performance so I'm willing to pay for quality. Any tips or suggestions help! Running a Ultrex 112lb.

Hands down, my choice would be a NOCO Genius 4 bank charger. They are proven, but yet not as pricy as some options. If you search, you can find some fair deals on them. I had a 3 bank on a boat with 24V TM, and it was just fine. The NOCO uses switching power supply technology; this weighs less and has several other advantages. Charging is digital processor controlled with a charge profile intended to provide good battery care.

Dual Pro Sportsman or Professional series. Serviceable instead of throwaway. http://www.dualpro.com/

Had em all, they all can have issues. Guest and dual pro have good service. Have yet to test NOCOs service.

I ended up going with this one after doing some research. I like the fact it can charge any battery type and I dont need a new charger if I change batteries.Found it on BBC for $100 less than any other store. Guy won it at a tourney and didnt need it. I was gonna get the NoCo but didnt have good reviews on a couple places I checked. Coach
Wishin I was Fishin!!!

Dual Pro Professional Series, check Battery Mart prices, was at my door 3 days later. I have one of those because it was in the boat I bought. That beast weighs a mere TWENTY-NINE pounds! If they went with switching power-supply technology, they'd be able to jettison at LEAST half of that weight.
