Well since Harvey came through and hammered the Rockport area fishing has been unreal!! The trout bite is as good as I have seen since the early/mid 90's. I have concentrated from Norther Aransas Bay to San Antonio Bay but everywhere has been producing fish. I have had A LOT of one stop limits on trout with good numbers of reds and drum thrown in. When we get out and wade, large trout have been plentiful with some true studs caught. There are hotels starting to open back up in Rockport. There are also a bunch of hotels open in Portland which isn't to far (30 min).
