Armando, thanks for the compliments on my boat. Also, it was good meeting you.

Jason, good to meet you. We will all have to hook up at the coast or Texoma sometime soon!

Keith, good to see you and see your boat in the water. The boat looks good!

It was a little crowded last night, but it was great to get out after work. This was the first trip I've made after work this year with the boat and look forward to doing more as the days get longer!

See ya'll soon!

Ahhh longer days and hot nights... My favorite kind of weather when the last 30 minutes of light are fast and furious on glass like water.

RossF good to meet you, I thought I had decided on a boat until I saw yours...

XYZ,
It was good to meet you yesterday! Me and my 5yo daughter got there as you were pulling the boat out. We sat in the little cove with the lanterns hanging off the boat until about 9:30 when she got too cold and decided she wanted Mama. We caught a few sandies, no crappie, and some of each others fishing line. But, she enjoyed it, that's what mattered most. The day before, I did well. Some Hybrids and plenty Sand bass. We need to hook up one time. I'm 5 minutes from the lake and some times need a partner. I got plenty of room and a new LMS520c which I am very happy with so far!!! Anyway I'm sure I'll see you again.

You have a nice classic boat very child oriented and it looks to be in AA++ shape.

I hear you I have a few things to do around the house on Saturday and with fuel prices they way they are right now it is hard for me to justify going anywhere else to catch hybrids or sandies when the action is good at Benbrook. With that said, I may fish Saturday night depending on the weather, I have a neat submersible light set up. I like you live about 15 minutes from the lake let’s line something up.

I was thinking Fairfield or Texoma for Sunday but I may have a trip on Sunday.

You guys are making me feel REAL guilty...I have no excuse for not being out there. Thanks for the reports!!!

This time of year I usually start taking guys out that I work with for "After Work Fishing" for a little fun fishing and trash talking. They know that means that we head to my house to pick up the boat, pizza and drinks and hit Benbrook for some fun. I got a list of guys ready to go...so I guess I better get off my...!!!

Is this the Ross from the 6OG forum that I meet up at Highport?

XYZ,
I am quite familiar with Fairfield and Tawakoni. Me and my brother have pulled some BIG reds out of Fairfield. And, I was thinking about a trip to Tawakoni soon also, I love that lake, always do good there.

by the way, like mondo said, anton does indeed have an awesome boat and it is super clean and well kept. i really dug his bait tank set up, and its perfect for running those choppy benbrook waters. i am getting a new trailer for my boat tommorrow that is painted in camo to match my little boat. i will pst some pics this weekend if i can keep off the lake long enough smile

anton,

i fished benbrook the monday after the weekend of heavy rain with a friend who works with rocky creek marina. he heard rumors of crappie, sanbass, and even hybrids stacked up thick around the flooded areas of the pump house in richardson. fished the area good with jigs roadrunners, and even through some plastics with no luck though.

Sounds like a plan to me hey we have to hit it while it is hot. Jason are you going to battle the winds on Texoma this Saturday?
