Hey I keep me a few hybrids, only cause the in-laws really like to eat em! What else could I do so I can keep on having an excuse to go fishing. I doubt the amount of hybrids I take really put a dent in the population, cause I don't catch many and when I do they're undersized!

My $.02 is; what differance does it make what you keep as long as it is legal? We pay to fish state waters, stocked with fish those funds and other fee's are collected for. If it is 18", you wish to have it cooked, mounted, painted, or ground into fertilizer for your tomato garden that is up to you. My girl still doesnt understand how I can go to bass pro or cabelas and spend three hours there and come out with a couple of lures but I can't go to walmart with her. She takes forever since walmart has everything. She doesnt know about all my gear because I keep it in the warehouse, and to her the warehouse is *icky*--fine by me, less yakking

In the midst of getting my PhD, marriage, and co-rasing my kids fishing was the only thing that kept me sane without having to take massive doses of Xanax or some other anxietiy meds., Nonetheless, my wife has always ecouraged I go fish. I was telling Jason she has enouraged me to get a new boat and not a used one, lastly she likes to go out and fish but hates boats shows on the lake.

If I get all that I need to get done, done today I will go out to Benbrook.
