Looking at a Kistler KLX and a Daiwa Zillion for a new pitching rod (7', MH). What do you think? Thanks for any advice.

KLX's are nice rods. Have never owned a Zillion, so can't speak for it or against it.
If you're pitching light weights and to sparse cover, the MH might work well. If you're pitching 3/8 and heavier or to any substantial cover, I would consider beefing up a bit-- 4 or 5 power.

I'd go with the KLX. Those are sweet rods for the price.

I have a couple Zillions. Awesome product.
Hit up Carlos Rivera here on the forum for the Daiwa. He's a great dude to do business with. And has great prices too.

If you want the Zillion go with the Zillion SV TW or if you want to save $100 go with the Tatula SV TW. Both are awesome reels with the advanced braking system. You can set up these reels to make a long cast and you don't have to thumb the spool and still not backlash the reel.
I have a 7ft KLX with the Tatula SV TW as my main rod for pitching jigs. Great set up.
