Woke up this morning thinking about deadsticking and all the fun that winter brings. Great fishing, deer hunting, hog hunting, beef stew, sunday afternoon football with a bowl of homemade chili, processing deer sausage.....Anybody else excited?

Where we are going we don't dead stick. Fish up here don't understand what dead sticking is even if the bait is in front of their face. So we slab like it's summer time and they love it!!

Tomorrow will be a warm afternoon. Giving it one more shot in shorts and a tee shirt before I start deadsticking. I do love winter fishing but I like to ease into it.
