Enjoyed the video except the part where you held that fish on the bow so you could go measure it. It always annoys me when I see guys doing that for an ego stroke. I think it is best to get the fish back in the water as soon as possible, especially in the heat. I would be surprised if that fish survived. You probably should have kept it for dinner.
Sorry to be a downer. Otherwise it was a very enjoyable video.

Sorry to be a downer. Otherwise it was a very enjoyable video. Totally understand where you are coming from, those conditions are tough for both the fish and fishermen. We take extra care to keep the fish in the water until we are ready to snap a quick picture. Wetting the hawg trough also helps maintain the slim coat on the fish. Anytime I release a fish I sit and make sure it has fully recovered before letting them go. The swim off is just as rewarding to me as the catch itself. Thanks for watching guys!
