Hey everyone, it's the Yankee again.

I'm just being curious and wondering what brand of reels yall use the most. I'm a Shimano purist and want to lay my grounds early .

Shimano mainly with 1 BPS reel (extreme), and an Abu 5501C3.

Shimano, without a doubt. My first baitcaster I had as a kid was a Shimano. It's what I learned on, and all I buy.

Shimano Curados 200's. The older green ones. I have 9 200's and 2 SF's and really haven't wanted to try anything else until I saw the Revo's.

Recently, I have purchased 2 Abu Revo SX's. I like them so far, but have only got to use them once. The jury is still out. They do feel really good in my hands though. Coach

I am a Shimano loyalist also, all curado's for me...

Mostly ABU. I don't know how many I have.

for baitcasters. i use abu garcia. 6500, and 5000.
for spinning rells i use shakesphere.

Abu Revo

Shimano for casting, they are hands down the best. I used to like their spinning reels, but they can't even touch Diawa there. I can't believe I just said that....LOL

Shimano...hands down.

No no no no no, you have to pick ONE that you use the most and that you think rules.

I've had arguments about this on other forums, so, let the swinging begin.

I use Shimano Chronarch MG 50s, and love them, in the past I have used the Currados, and they are good reels !!

For the price the only other reel that is in the same ball park with the MG is the Revo STX !
