I plan on fishing Ray Roberts on Monday. Any suggestions on some good places to go?

Depends on what you are wanting to catch. The spillway is probably a waste of time since they aren't releasing much water.

Ok thanks. I like to catch crappie and sandies. I wouldn't be upset to hook a bass either.

Going to be tough to get either of those from the bank right now. Your best bet will be the creeks.

Found a place that is supposed to be a good sandie spot. Will let y'all know after I fish there tomorrow.

Head east and go to lavon... sandies from the bank are plentiful! Hard clay bottom is the ticket! Wind direction does not really matter right now... of course south wind is best. I killed them today with northwestern wind swimming 1/2 oz chartreuse slab jig combo. Lots of smalls but lots of fun!
