Has anyone fished up there from a Kayak?
I've been reading on the website, and it looks like after October 1st, it becomes a non-motorized boats only until the spring?
Just curious if anyone has been up there before and if it's worth it? Would my time be better spent trying up on the main lake somewhere?

I’ve seen a few people catching. Crappie by the bridge, and catfish on the pump pads.
And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. Matthew 4:19

I kept sailboats at Cedar Mills Marina in the early 80's, and people with lake cabins there fished the Big Mineral down to Hagerman, and they caught lots of fish there. Did you know there is an underwater town there, named Hagerman, that was covered up when Lake Texoma filled? I suspect that it's not much more than foundations by now.
Hadn't heard it's a non-motor area, but the Hagerman is in the Central Flyway, and sometimes there are many, many thousands of Canada Geese on the ground, feeding on the grain the Gummint puts out.
Catch 'em up! IslandJim
