This. Plus people weren't as fat so that helped avoid a long list of illnesses.

You need at least one serving of this every day for the rest of your life.
But doc it tastes like slimy rotten gym sock soaked in concentrated cat urine.
Then dont eat it and die.
What do I do when its out of season and I cant find it fresh?
Make plans.

I would NOT rely on pills as a daily supplement, and I do not mean vitamins.

How did we survive?

1. We were all younger, and "youth" is a big part of surviving
2. We also simply bought ointments like rubbing alcohol, Absorbing Junior, Ben Gay, etc., and we use those things coupled with ice
3. We powered through
4. foods were just starting to be processed severely in the 60s/70s, but it took time for all the poison to find a homes, and now we see it with obesity, mental problems, etc
5. #1 reason, we were all younger, and "youth" is a big part of surviving

Yeah, when people died by 35 they didn't have a long time to get long term ailments.

I only started taking prescribed pills a couple of days ago. Looks like I have a heart issue that has been there a while. Still running tests to get final diagnosis. BP is down already.

I see it a lot with my students. They are all on something. Doctors give AD/HD pills out like candy but it is like speed if you don't actually have AD/HD.

Yeah, Ben Franklin was a rarity in his day - lived to over 80 years old when the average life expectancy was around half that.

Many of our pill treated health problems don't develop until after 40, 50, or 60 years of age.

Aspirin used to be THE miracle drug, cure anything, but pain, anilments, and disease grew tolerant and aspirin became useless except for minor headaches. Each new disease now takes five or six new drugs to fight the symptoms as modern medicine does not cure anything.
