My best suggestion is for you to find a good ford tech to fix your truck. He's basically throwing parts at it. For the most part the hpop will cause a lack of power and occasionally a no start. The intermittent no start is either an icp/ high pressure oil leak, ficm or cmp concern. You'll need to look at cmp fault, rpm, icp pressure, voltage ficm l,m,vpwr, ipr and fuel pulse width while cranking and I could probably tell you where to go. Good luck there are a ton of hacks out there on the 6.0's

If the "as is" is somewhere in writing, You have NO leverage. So sorry.

If the "dealer" is willing to work with you then . . . . work with him/her.

If you're asking for a magic bean, there is not one here.

Better prepare yourself for lots of lube needed for long term issues.

Where was the oil leaking from? The HPO can leak or the injection pump does not get sufficient pressure the engine won't fire. You might find if you spin the engine faster it will start quicker. I don't know how you would do that but fresh batteries might help short term.

This dude Wes is legit.

Drove out here and spotted the problem in 25 minutes. Ordered the parts and am back on the road.

Obviously icp pressure combined with voltage ficm.

Stress less, relax more. Go fishing.

The dealer supposedly changed the oil...but he used the wrong cap and filter...causes all kinds of problems on the 6.Blow

Also, he had supposedly changed the fuel pressure regulator spring kit to the updated 60psi kit....but installed it wrong as well.

A couple of days will tell if I installed it all correctly :-).

Wrong

ICP, IPR and all FICM data is 100% good.
