I am taking my 2 boys camping at Inks lake this weekend and wondering how the fishing has been before I pull the boat there.

Have not been in a long time. The fishing was OK early in the morning. But it is a great place to take the kids. Try and go visit the fish hatchery that is real close to there, that is if it's still open. It's about a 15 minute trip and it won't take much time to see but, the last time I was there an intern took us out back to watch him feed the big bass. It was really neat to see those big bass gorging on the minnows he was tossing in.

I don't know about the fishing, but it is one of my favorite state parks to camp at. Enjoy!

Park is great, we when camping a few months ago fish from the bank and caught 1 13-14in LMB on a chatterbait, I fish for an hour kids are still young so they were ready to explore around
