Just some pond fishing pics. Bass went to another pond, crappie were for supper that night! Largest bass went 6' 13" and the big crappie went 2'14". My Dad was keeping count and the day we caught the bass he quit counting at 41, and only two of them were smaller than the small ones on the stringer.

That is what pond fishing is all about. So many ponds have tons of 12 in fish and nothing of any size. Shows you got a good healthy pond.

great photos

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Yeah, well I didn't have any buttons for ounces symbol and too lazy to type pounds and ounces in. LOL!!! laugh

Thanks for the good comments though.

FYI all of the crappie came on 1/2 ounce Red Shad Rat-L-Traps. Was trying to catch some more bass and one of the crappie "accidentaly" got it hung in his mouth. Started slow retieve on the Rat-L-Traps and started catching crappie and even a few more bass.
