Dang, been a staple for me. Sorry to see it go, sure it was a tough decision for you guys as Bill sure seemed to enjoy what he was doing.

There's a few things to note here so I'll chime in.

First, the show has never been a charity. It's always needed advertising and sponsor dollars to exist, so yes it's always been "chasing 50 cents" but your number is a little low.

Second, the person that deserves the credit for the show remaining on the air after Jerry is Randall Boyd. If not for Randall, this show would have been gone over a decade ago. He kept the show afloat when it wasn't right side up on the revenue side. If you're going to mention Jerry, you need to give the same nod to Randall Boyd for his contributions as well.

Finally, when we purchased the show in late 2013 the #1 goal was to get the show profitable and we were able to do that. This decision to move HH off of the network is simply related to focusing on our core business and leveraging our production resources towards our primary platform. Bill and Dirk are the ones who want to keep the VOD going so that our most loyal viewers still have an option to watch the shows if they choose. The VOD dollars will go to take care of their expenses to make those shows happen. No one over here is getting rich on the VOD but it's a great product and we've received nothing but outstanding feedback from those who've purchased them.

Hope that provides a little more clarity. To all the fans, we appreciate you.

I think the VOD is well worth the small cost for the product you receive. I hope that there will still be a decent number of shows for 2018. About the only fishing show I care to watch. Thank you guys for putting out good content.

Any insight as to what the next project holds?

But most here won't. Wish the best for Bill and Dirk but don't predict going pay only is going to end well, hope I'm wrong for their sake, guess tejasbass hit a nerve but he speaks the truth.

No nerve, just some clarifying. VOD has served a purpose for our most loyal fans the last two years who wanted access to the longer form commercial free episodes. As noted it will continue based on the efforts of Bill & Dirk. I suspect based on past purchases they'll be plenty accessing the shows there. To clarify you can watch VOD on any device, including your TV.

I hate to see the show go. Bill is my favorite fishing personality, he seems so down to earth and he has forgotten more about bass fishing than I will ever know.

I am a VOD subscriber and as long as it is an option I will purchase it. I love every second of the show.

Honey Hole taught me a lot about local lakes and even just basic fishing in general when I took up fishing earlier in college. This is very sad news for me. I'm too young to remember Jerry but Bill seems like a heck of a dude, would love our boats to cross paths one day. Thanks Bill for what I've learned.

This is a pretty heady concept. Can't say I've been watching that long, but the shows I have been alive for were either enjoyed or studied. Thank you HH for the education and entertainment!

I understand the realities of production costs for the show. I find the VOD a tremendous value---right now we've gotten 24 episodes for $40, with more still to come.

I know I'd happily pay twice that (or more) on a per episode basis to keep having episodes.

I hope they won't stop altogether, especially if cost is the main reason, without seeing if the market will support higher VOD prices.

Thank you Randal Boyd, Bill and Dirk, My son is 14 years old now and he grew up watching the show and we watch it together. I have gotten to know Bill fishing tournaments against him and he is a nice guy and a great fisherman. I have learned a lot from his show. Bill will talk to you like he has been your friend for years. I know Bill is NO spring chicken so all that traveling has to take a toll on you.
Bill you have had a great office for many years. Thank you for the memories.. I would say enjoy retirement but I think you have been doing that.
