Mine just started making a vibrating sound when running on 6 or higher speed. Tried to take the prop off and it won't budge. I went through the manual and aligned it a they suggested and it simply won't come off. Any advice on what to do outside of just running it to a dealer which I don't have time for right now.

Mine was the same way. As in hit the blade in the direction that I want it to come off the shaft or away from the housing?

I have the eliminator prop nut on it....everything was fine until a trip to the red river a few weeks ago. I will try the rubber hammer trick and hope that works. Thanks for all of the help guys.

Seems as though you got the idea....but away from the motor.
Do NOT hit the motor housing. It has magnets epoxied to the inside of it. You can easily break off a magnet hitting the motor with a regular hammer.
Be gentle and forcefull.

Once the prop is off the motor, you can tune it by loosening the 3/8"'bolts a tiny bit. Turn the motor on high speed and gently rotate the housing end by the skeg until the motor is running the smoothest/fastest it can. Tighten the 3/8" bolts back to the same torque they were originally. Don't worry if the skeg isn't exactly straight....it will still work and steer just fine. Only difference is the motor will have less vibration and noise.....and little more power.
Also...invest in a cheap lawn mower blade balancer and balance the prop. Even a brand new weedless wedge 2 needs a little work to be perfectly quiet.

Thanks Steez....this went from perfectly quiet to making these noises at higher speeds. It's why I think there is something inside the prop. We shall see once I get back out there which won't be until next Wednesday.
