I'd bring the beer, but bring a handle of whiskey, too, just in case that vibe gets rolling. But make sure it's the half gallon bottle and not just a fifth - there's more than one of ya'. Get tore up.

HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

The question isn't beer or no beer, if you ponder that there is only one answer.
The question it seems is how many, when, where, and with whom - not if.

Bring beer and if he don't like it just go home and he can move himself, as long as your not drunk breaking things and being an idiot Hell, he should be supplying the beer.

NO BEER! Perception IS reality. It’s a career killer to drink unless he supplies it and joins in, then only one and back to work. Get in, get it done, get gone.

When moving heavy pieces you should really be more worried about safety. Proper lifting techniques, walking backwards with heavy furniture...etc. You should have a "safety" meeting at least once an hour as carrying stuff with one hand and a beer in the other isn't so safe.

So your bosses boss needs help moving?? I'd tell them to pound sand!! Why in the hell do people feel the need to have other people, with better things to do, help move all their [censored]!! There are legitimate companies out there that will do this at a reasonable price!! Once you area responsible adult, you shouldn't bother other responsible adults with [censored] like moving!!
I feel much better now!! Moving, or being asked to help someone else move is just a peeve of mine!!
