Mountain lions will cause a dog to do that.

We had a thread about this dog spooked issue several months ago. Mine and several other guys on here had spooked pups and the reason was never really clear. My dog was absolutely freaked about something, very out of character for her unless its storming bad, it wasnt at the time. The only thing i came up with was a possible small earthquake,
About a month after that i realized her hearing had gotten very bad. As in i had to raise my voice to get her to respond, even inside a few feet away. I wondered if she had a sudden hearing loss that freaked her out.
