Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that Lynn Creek Park and Britton Park will close their gates for the season starting 9/25/17. These parks will stay closed until 3/1/18. Loyd Park, the marina, and Cedar Hill (I believe), will remain open.

Is there a ramp open at Cedar Hill State Park?? Might be wrong but thought that was closed up

Is there a ramp open at Cedar Hill State Park?? Might be wrong but thought that was closed up I think the park is closed around where the marina used to be for construction. I think the rest of the park may be open though.

South ramp is still open. Kind of a pain to drive all that way down there but beats the other options imo.

I launched at Loyd Park Thursday.. no problem and got my PB.. about a foot across, big feet.. a freakin Turtle! It actually bit a Zoom finess worm on a drop shot rig.. I set the hook and thought this is a pretty heavy fish.. pulling drag.. but was coming up.. then I see a big belch of bubbles.. and I knew it was a turtle.. lol. I got 1 little dink in addition to the turtle.. I still don't know where they are!

Launched at the north ramp at Cedar Hill SP. Awesome that it's now open. Close to all the rocks at the damn and some of the good coves, but farther to the bridges.

Did they do any patching to the paving at the north ramp? We used it about a month ago when the south ramp was shut down due to a triathlon and it was pretty rough.
