Getting your individual equipment set right and then getting your sound check done in an indoor venue is much easier. Outdoors you can get It done in the afternoon and have different conditions at night when you take the stage.

I never had a bad experience at the HemisFair Arena back in the day. Same goes for Reunion Arena.

My favorite is The Kessler in Dallas, just a bit west of the Bishop Arts District.
Old movie theater that seats about 400, and all with good views and the sound is very good. Tickets are also very reasonable. I don't think we've paid over $25/seat in the years we've gone there.
![[Linked Image]](https://sapgr.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/jc-patriot_guard_riders_logo-130x90.jpg) Family is everything! Life is precious. We donโt have forever. We have now. This moment. We can choose to love our lives now.

I like the Keesler too, my daughter lives a few blocks away so its handy in case I accidentally drink a few too many, they book some great acts too, my favorite so far was a Fathers Day show my daughter took me to, it featured Jimmy Dale Gilmore & his son Colin, along with Butch Hancock & his son Rory.

Mid-level concert venues are my favorite. The old Bronco Bowl in Dallas was the best! I saw... David Bowie and Tin Machine Live Joan Jett Talk Talk The Psychedelic Furs The Alarm ...and the best concert I've ever seen back in '82/'83...........U2, young and hungry! ...------

Was closing down when I got here, Sure would have liked to have seen a few shows there. Starplex is decent, AAC is not good, Jerry world did not care for, Verizon Theatre in GP is good. I like Trees and Gas Monkey live as well.

The smaller venues were really cool. Seen some really good shows at the small places but I've seen some bad @$$ shows at amphitheatres. Still remember my first concert clear as day
