Anyone fished Brady Lake much lately? I was there with my son last weekend, but we fished for catfish mostly. Caught a bunch of catfish, but they were all about 10-12". There was a bass tourney going on I think due to all of the boats. I was just wondering if anybody was doing any good since it had a fish kill a few years back. I love that little lake!

I coached in Brady from 95 - 2000. Loved that lake. If you hit it just right a sack of 25 - 33 lbs. was possible, and bigger sacks than that had been caught during the early 90's.

Ive heard its been doing a lot better. Give it a few more years and it should be pretty good. Hey Cobra I bet you know my cousin Jim Peel. He went to school there around that time, he played football.

Ken's, I remember Jim Peel well. Great kid, heck of an outside linebacker on a defense that gave up 72 points in 11 games, do the math on that one. If you see him tell him Coach Larson said hi.

That lake used to be one of the best little lakes in west central Texas ! Hhsve not been to it in awhile. I was wondering how the lake level was right now ?

I haven't been this year but last few years have been tough on that lake.
