I have been trying to learn how to create custom maps with my Lowrance Carbon via Sonar Charts live using my Navionics plus card. I have watched all the online videos and attempted it but it never did anything when I tried it. I think all it recorded was my sonar. It never came up and began chart and putting live data overlaying on my screen like it is suppose to. I would like to see a video that goes step by step for Lowrance users. The best video I saw was from a link from a Bassmasters Elite but it did not do it for me.

I'm guessing you've read the info on this page and watched the video?

You can also upload your sonar logs to lowrance insight genesis mapping. I've been doing this on my home lakes that don't have great coverage and found it to be quite amazing and free.

You can also check to see if it's already been mapped and use that mapping as well. I've found some sweet stuff swapping between their genesis maps and navionics.

This gentleman is using Sonar Charts Live with his iPad.

With, the Lowrance Carbon with built in Wifi, I'd guess the process would be similar.
