28th out of 48, sucks to be one of the 20 drivers that rank lower.  28th place in top 10 equipment... Dale is 22. Does that still apply? Absolutely... the current Dale Jr is not the same as he was in his first 5 years in cup. Blame it on his dad dying, taking on to much Hollywood stuff, or whatever. He's not there to win anymore and hasn't been for years. Dale just wants to finish races with the car intact and not get hurt. Sad but true. I can't say that I hate Danica.. but my dislike for her started back in the IRL. The media and race promoters shoved her down our throats and would talk more about her than the damn Indy 500 winner and she never did squat. Not like she was the first woman in Indy... the only race she won was a fuel mileage race in Japan that half the regular field did not race in. The Texas race became known as the Danica 500. Several camps near us had blow up dolls on flag poles with Danica 500 written on them with marker. It's not really her fault, the promoters of the races were insulting true race fans to try and get more tickets sold. That stuck with her when she went to NASCAR...

I liken NASCAR to the NHL, and MLB. Great sports to watch live in person. Not so much for TV. IMHO.

So Danika can drive a car at 200mph in heavy traffic and she is a loser? I say she had had a career full of remarkable achievements. She has guts. Never understood the dislike for her. I would always root for her!!

Nascar lost me after Dale E died..boring...would rather watch golf...and that sucks to me most of the time Have you ever been to a NASCAR RACE? TV and being there is quite different. No I have not...restrictor plate racing,cubic inch restrictions etc ....to make it an even playing field just dilutes the completion on the track...If a car manufacturer cant play with the big boys then they should go home...I say bring it back to how it was and let the manufacturers put their biggest baddest production motors on the track...and then have a race....no doubt live is quite different than tv...but its not like it used to be. Didn't they come up with these restrictions for basically the same reasons they shortened the track and limited nitro at drag races?
I never met a fish I didn't like,........
