I have a friend who really liked Sprints. He has owned 3 total from 18'-21' and I've fished in all of them extensively. Good solid boat. He had to rebuild a transom in one of them (don't remember why.) The others he had no issues. They are a great fishing boat that I was always surprised didn't make it longer. Well made, fished well, rode well. Lots and lots of storage. From being around these boats for quite some time, I would give no caution to anyone wanting to buy one.

Now, I will say it took a little longer to sell his last one simply because it's not a well known brand but he did sell it for a fair price. It was bought by a guy that was looking for a solid boat but didn't want to break the bank and didn't care about "brand names" rather something that was looking to stretch his dollar further. He got a good deal.

Depending on how that boat in the pic is rigged with electronics and if it's a 24v or 36v trolling motor would bump up the price but from what I see, I'd say you're looking at $13,000-16,000 boat.

kbb is 12,900 but i wasnt sure how close those numbers really are to market value. always covered, new yamaha lower unit a year ago, original power head, 2 year old fortrex, minimal trailer rust, 2 owners, humminbird 898, previous owner kept it in a garage. as far as the other information im going to get a hands on in a couple of hours.

wow 13000 - 16000 would be killer. at that point id also be selling it with 3 humminbird graphs and possibly a pair of 10ft talons.

I would have no hesitations if the motor checked out, especially if you can get him to come off it a little. Even still, I'd say list price is pretty fair.
FYI that motor is good and strong but likes to drink fuel and oil. I had a 200HP '01 and it was great.

the asking price is 9500. I'm thinking that's a good deal if it all checks out.

A really good deal if the transom is good and the motor checks out.

I bought a 286 Tournament Pro(V Max 150) new in 98 from The Fishing Store and it has been the best boat ever. It handles rough water really well and also floats in 1.5' FOW. This boat has the best mojo with countless BIG fish out of it and that is why I have not and will not get a new one.

The day after catching a lot of fish is still a good day.

Great boats. Owned a 1997 207DC and would buy another. Great handling and fishing platform... Sprint got into trouble when they partnered with Travis Marine and started cutting corners to meet their demands... Can't remember when the Travis Editions started (maybe 1999 or there abouts) but anything built before that was quality... Dan
