Stickers and msrp are nonsense and depending on the dealer they are total bs. One of the reasons people hate car shopping, or boat shopping for that matter

Comparing gas mileage in a truck is like comparing towing capacity in a hybrid.
Let's just assume the average truck owner keeps their truck for 150,000 miles. Some keep them more, some keep them less, but that's probably somewhere around the average. If gas is $2.50 a gallon, the Tundra getting 15 mpg costs you $25,000 in fuel. The Ram Ecodiesel getting 26 mpg costs you $14,423 in fuel. If you guys want to throw away $10k in fuel to support the Exxon CEO, go ahead. But I'd rather keep my money in my pocket. And by the way, that number just gets higher as gas gets more expensive. I have 21k miles on my Ram, so I look at it as already being about $1500 ahead of where I'd be if I'd bought a Tundra. I like Toyotas, but their lack of efficiency is a real cost that owners have to be willing to absorb. I'm not when there are other options that are nearly twice as good. Dodge really isn't even on the conversation. Dodge doesn't make trucks anymore, so I agree that they aren't part of the conversation.

I switched from a Ford to a Tundra a couple of months ago. I originally didn't look at the Tundra because I thought they'd be more expensive..not. I paid a few thousand dollars less than a F150 would have been and I got the TSS blacked out package. Won't be looking back..

no turbos, no auto start stop, and all the other garbage that will break. I'm with you on the auto start/stop. Stupid feature imo that has been causing some issues. That start/stop method I agree with not liking it but as being an option that can be turned off if you want to . Do it in settings is the way to do it .

I'm on my second Tundra. I had a 2010 but a butt head partner sunk it at the ramp with 67/k on it. They do not float very well. I now have a 2014 Tundra SR5 TSS edition (lower end model as I don't like leather seats), Crew Cab with 5.7 engine. It is thirsty. On highway (long trip not towing) it got 17 MPG. Towing I'm lucky to get 11. Driving around town maybe 12-14. Just replaced tires at 67/K. Everything else has just been routine maintenance. I want one that will float.

Have 2013 Ford F150 with Ecoboost. Have about 110K miles on it and must say it tows great but mine has had lots of problems. Coil packs...2 water pumps...sun roof no longer works...keypad entry failed and many more minor things wrong. Will definitely consider a Tundra for my next truck.

Not a fan of Toyota. The Ford ecoboost will run circles around a tundra. I've only driven a tundra twice and have no desire to drive one again, felt heavy and didn't tow as well as a comparable f-150 with an ecoboost. Beg to differ. There ain't a stock ecoboost on the planet that can keep up with a 5.7 Tundra. Ain't gonna happen ever.

Pretty much the identical problems my son has had with his ecoboost except the throttle body problems he experienced. Fomoco knows it's a problem. Dealers sell after markets.

No Jay. Trying to show you the fallacy of your asinine arguments. I have a Jeep in the garage. Never bashed the Toyota. Had great luck with Ford.
I guess maybe I could type it slower to explain why I and others will never again buy a ford, but you still won't understand. I'll make it simple for you.......I'll continue to buy products that have proven to be better over ones that suck. There is that simple enough? By all means, please type slower and explain why you will no longer purchase products that are no longer manufactured. So ford is no longer manufacturing trucks?
