No Jay. Trying to show you the fallacy of your asinine arguments. I have a Jeep in the garage. Never bashed the Toyota. Had great luck with Ford.

I guess maybe I could type it slower to explain why I and others will never again buy a ford, but you still won't understand. I'll make it simple for you.......I'll continue to buy products that have proven to be better over ones that suck. There is that simple enough?

I traded my 08 Dodge 2500 Mega Cab, 4wd with the Cummins and a mere 188k on a new Tundra 3 weeks ago. This is without a doubt the best truck I've ever owned. I loved the beast but spent the last 3 years trying to get the AC to work right. Got tired of it. Still, the Tundra is a better truck.

By all means, please type slower and explain why you will no longer purchase products that are no longer manufactured.

I had a Tundra in 2008 and loved it. I downsized when my daughter was born for a few years and had small boats and v6 powered suv's.

When I got my new boat this year and decided I was getting one that needed a v8 to tow with I got a new 2017 Tundra. I love this one as much as I did the 08. This one is a Crewmax and the amount of room in the backseat is insane. I also put an ARE topper on it and am enjoying having it on there as well. The 37 gal tank that comes with the 5.7 is a nice addition.

I have zero complaints about the truck.

Trucks in general are just better now. My dad's 2013 Tundra was light years ahead of my 2004 Silverado. My 2016 Ram is nicer than his Tundra in nearly every way. I think nearly all of the big manufacturers make pretty good truck nowadays.

This comes from a Chevy guy who doesn't really like Ford, bought a Ram because it gets 30+ mpg highway, and respects Toyota reliability and resale while hating the efficiency.

Other than Year model problems they all have had and will have, today's trucks are all pretty good. It's more a matter of personal preference than quality anymore.

lol of course it is. It's 9 years newer.

I'm thinking this will never end.

If my Ram had a back power sliding glass to throw cheeseburger wrappers out of I'd be happy too.

I bought my Crewmax Tundra new January 2012 with 8 miles on it. It currently has 170K.

New tires at 60k (Toyo AT2) 275/65/18's. Pretty certain that is the stock size that came on it, just changed brands and went to an all-terrain)
Serpentine belt at 80k. Had it replaced at the dealership while getting the oil changed
Spark plugs and battery at 140k
New tires at 150k (Toyo AT2)
New brakes all the way around at 160k

That's a complete list of what/when I've worked on the truck. My next truck will be a Tundra and I'm a big believer in those Toyo AT2 tires. 170k miles on her and I've only bought 2 sets of tires.

Never seen equally equipped Yota cheaper than a Ford. Fords price may be high but also way more rebates and sales than Yota. Yota is a beast for sure and solid truck but horrible gas mileage. Ride in both and buy what ya like. I'm a Ford guy and always will be but if I weren't I might drive a Yota.

Tundra needs a refresh. Getting a little long in the tooth. And I heard they are dropping the 5.7 with the new remodel.

Comparing gas mileage in a truck is like comparing towing capacity in a hybrid.
