I'm on my second Tundra. I had a 2010 but a butt head partner sunk it at the ramp with 67/k on it. They do not float very well. I now have a 2014 Tundra SR5 TSS edition (lower end model as I don't like leather seats), Crew Cab with 5.7 engine. It is thirsty. On highway (long trip not towing) it got 17 MPG. Towing I'm lucky to get 11. Driving around town maybe 12-14. Just replaced tires at 67/K. Everything else has just been routine maintenance.

I've heard that the Tundra will pass everything on the road except a gas station. But then again, you don't buy a truck for fuel economy.

A lariat F150 4x4 MSRP is 56k A limited Tundra 4x4 MSRP is 48K
Ford has about 10k worth of rebates, Tundra has 4k.

Forgot to mention. My first Tundra replaced a P.O.S. 2002 Ford F150. I had nothing but trouble with that truck. A lady finally put me out of my misery when she ran a red light and totaled the Ford. The repair list was long for my Ford. I think the worst was transmission went out at 26/K. Under warranty but still. After I got it back from the shop they suggested I not tow with the truck!? I asked if they meant there was a break-in period for the new transmission and they said no just they did not recommend towing with it.
At this time their big advertisement as their truck had best towing ability in it's class. Should have asked what class was that, the P.O.S. class.

I have a 2015 Tundra TSS 5.7 and it's a beast. I agree with what some have said. You don't but a truck for fuel economy, but I know others do get better mileage. I've drug my Champion all over Texas and up to Mo without any issue and it doesn't care the boat is back there. If you think it's ugly, then that your opinion and you can get something you like the looks of, but personally I like mine. I'd buy it again.

Since I have a quarter million on my 07 tundra, (Everything is still original other than the battery, the starter..... 2 brake jobs and 4 sets of tires) I think I am more than qualified to say the tundra is a no brainer. No more Fords for me. I have driven them all and I can honestly say nothing even comes close to the quality you get in a tundra. And besides, the tundra is made right here in Texas. Pretty much sums up my experience as well. Tranny acting weird right now but it has 276,000 HARD miles on it. Think mine was made in Tennessee. Tundra plant in San Antonio...trannies/motors possibly Tennessee..dont know
