The lake looks great, the boat ramp not so much. I took the kayak out there last week and had to paddle over about 25' of grass and junk washed up right at the ramp. I paddled over it but there were some boats pushing through it. I was throwing a chatterbait and senko up around the middle islands and was catching a bunch of dinks, switched to a brush hog and started fishing a little deeper and started wearing out 2-3lbers almost every cast. Slow was the key, throw it out there and just drag it back real slow. It was a subtle bite, just keep an eye on your line.
