Whew...its been a LONG week. Started out in Houston last Monday with Safe K9 Transports and we set up a command center for animal rescues, we ended up bringing in over 1500 animals from Tuesday to Thursday. Then we moved to Beaumont at the ford pavilion ..it was bad guys. We linked up with the Cajun Navy and went on rescues through Beaumont and Vidor...ended up seizing up my motor the first day in my truck. Luckily Safe K9 Transports will be helping pay for it to get fixed. Saw alot of dead animals :'( but altogether we rescued and transported over 5000 animals...might be heading to the east coast with hurricane Irma coming. But gotta get some fishing in before I go...

This last pic was the first dog I rescued
the first night. And I adopted him. A shelter in Pasadena had the roof cave in and we moved out 300 animals that night...i named him MadCatter. Lol. I have alot more pics. And I posted videos of when we were out with the Cajun navy on my Facebook..theres still alot of flooded areas. :(:( but I must say...we stood tall together!! And I'm proud to be a Texan!!

Well. That didn't last long. Was unloading my fishing stuff at one of my spots when I got a call from the owner of safe k9 transports to meet at his place in San Antonio. So I'm almost home now. Gonna pack and head down to SA and then we are headin for florida tonight or first thing tomorrow morning. Needless to say I didn't get to fish. Lol. Send prayers with us!!

Thanks guys. I got to San Antonio last night around dark. We sanitized all the kennels and the trailer and loaded everything up. Me and Tom with Safe K9 Transports are heading to Houston now to transport 250 dogs and then we are heading to florida tonight or tomorrow.

Update: we are traveling down 85 towards Miami. Stopping in Orlando to drop supplies to make room in our trailer for rescues. We have guardians of rescue, best friends animal society, and Cajun navy members behind us. It's getting bad guys. Say prayers for us. We have an MOU so we can pass through areas closed off to anybody but rescue crews.

Made it home a few nights ago...wow..people in Florida are bad...so many pets tied up and abandoned... we rescued hundreds of animals..it was very emotional..but fulfilling...im glad to be home though..and have been spending some much needed time with my puppy MadCatter lol
