9-3-17Last Sunday I slipped out by myself to check some spots that I hadn't fished since post spawn.
Sure enough, they were there
1st fish of the day on the 1st drop
I was catching fish at a pretty good clip
The fish I found were on smaller timber in 15-16 fow, couple of feet off bottom.
I fished 3 spots and was done
BFOD was a 2.12#
She was the 1st 2# fish I had caught since spring
25 quality (No Measure) fish as Belinda likes to call them
9-8-17Finally was able to get DW Moore off his dozer and up here to catch a few
I had not hit those spots since Sunday, so I figured I put him on some, but wasn't expecting the results we got.
1st off let me say, there's quite a few of the older forum members that have fished with DW, I got to say he's a HOOT
We hit it off, was laughing and cutting up like long lost friends
Sorry, I didn't take any pictures while we were fishing, but even tho the wind wasn't awful, I had to stay atop of the trolling motor to keep us on the fish
The quality of fish we were catching was great, DW ended up with a quite a bit of fish for his fish fry
At 1 point, we emptied the front live well into his ice chest and had 28.
We hit a couple of more spots before calling it a day
I was guessing we had 40-45 fish, got back to my place and we had 49!!!!
Now that right there is an ice chest full of

All fish on both trips were caught on 2' Tadpoles in Lime Glo-Treuse
