Well as planned I headed out the door this morning to check out a couple of local spots. First off was Tom's Creek. With all the rain was expecting it to be blown out. Not the case, but I couldn't find a place to pull off the road that wasn't posted private property no parking, have to do some more research on it. Discouraged I headed to Pandapus pond and poverty creek that feeds it and exits. Hit the trail around the pond and poverty creek was not providing any water to the pond and nothing below. So I fished the weeds around the banks of the pond with the bait fishermen. I didn't see any of them pull anything out while I was there, but as my luck would have it it didn't stop me from pulling a few off the weeds with a gunslinger and Briminator.
