Lenahorse and I hit the lake today and fished from 8AM to noon and from 12:40PM to 4PM and caught a total of 78fish: 63 whites, 4 legal hybrids, a short hybrid, 5 keeper sized yellow bass, 4 cats and a crappie. We started the day at Dam Drop-off and started catching them immediately using #4 Mepps. After that played out we looked at Dam Ridge, Campbell's Hump and Greenhouse Ridge but couldn't find fish. We headed north to Key Ranch Drop-off and Key Ranch North and caught a few at each spot. We also checked Old Pond Dam, Merimac Point, Iron Wall Hump, Carolyn Estates Point and Pole Dance Point and found no fish. So we went in for lunch havng caught about 35 for the morning. We stared the afternoon at Saint Annes Point East and caught several there including one of the hybrids. From there we took another look at Dam Drop-off and caught a few more. We checked out Dam Ridge again but nada. So, we headed north to Spillway Hump where we caught a few on the south edge in 15 fow. But these fish were moving continually and difficult to stay on. So, we went to north tip of Spillway Hump and found a good concentration in 18 fow on the slope. We sat there and caught fish until 4 PM. These were the biggest whites of the day going 13 to 15 inches. We caught another hybrid there as well. We left still catching them. Pics of the day below: Larry with 1st of his 2 legal hybrids: Larry with his 2nd legal hybrid - about 21 inches: Yours truly with 1st of my 2 hybrids:

Great day and trip I really enjoyed a lot, to add some I also fished my trusty Little Georges, MT Pockets Slabs and a GReeves spinner and never got 1 bite, every fish boated was on a Mepps or a Toddmepps, we marked a ton of fishes not biting, the day started with both of our 1st casts a fish and 5 or 6 more in a row. I am sure ready for a repeat!

Big concentration at Spillway Hump this morning. Fish are good on #4 Mepps and Chartreuse Little George.
