anyone know what all the brown slimy snot stuff that is coating all my stuff, motor, live trap, jugs etc... that is on the river part by kimbell bend park on lake whitney......

The river below Whitney was choaked with the stuff also when I floated it a couple of weeks back. It was very annoying.

Was on Fork last Sat and noticed the beginning of the fall turnover. When this occurs the lake surface will have a nasty brown layer on it. It coats your boat and motor.
