Jake Diekman just came into first game since last year after 3 different intestinal surgeries in last year and looked good. Retired the 3 batters he faced. Great moment! Ger's leading 7-9 going to top of 8th.

Btw Gallo has been back what 2-3 games now and has 2 bombs. Crazy to think I missed him in the lineup especially the first half of the season but man his progress and second half have been great!

Tie danged game. Grilli put too many on and Claudio gave up sac fly for tie. Other runs were scored off Rodriguez earlier and another sac when Diekman came in. Bullpen still bad. Hamels was good for a while but didn't give start we needed tonight. Gotta score late to win this.

Gallo's at bats continue to improve for most part. Naps has chance to put us up with 2 outs in bottom of 8th.
