I went and walked Murrell Park on Lake Grapevine last weekend and am gonna go back this Saturday morning to go fishing. Any tips for fishing out there. Hoping to catch some bass or catfish. I've heard alot of people wade out into the water so I was going to try this as well and also try out a new top water lure.

Cast walking type top water if calm and a Popper or prop bait with a little chop..it's working from a boat right now and is a great way to catch'em from the bank...I focus on points, fan cast and work it all the way back..bone or shad colors are my favs..but most importantly...be there "before first light" early... good luck.
