Just drove by my local QT. Line of cars in the right lane going all the way back to the stop light (about a block long). People trying to turn left can't get into the parking lot, but there were people behind them trying to turn left to go into another store. The QT lot looked like a total disaster with cars everywhere, some of which might not get out of there for an hour or more.

I bought beer at this same QT yesterday at 5:15 and there were two pumps being used. I should've topped off then, I guess.

Drove by another gas station which is set back in a neighborhood by a block or so and that situation didn't have as many cars, but it didn't look pleasant, either.

Labor Day weekend is a terrible time to have a gas rush.

It's a mess in San Angelo, every station that has gas has a line a mile long blocking streets. Several Stripes stores are out and fuel price signs are [censored] off and bags over pumps.

I saw two stations at $4 bucks a gallon, but $8 is crazy insane.
