Question - everything works except the engine stop button, do I have to replace the keypad or continue to use the kill switch to turn off the engine? Could something be wrong with just the stop button connection?
Where can I buy a ranger keypad?

I would get the replacement plug-in ignition switch. Dealer item.

You can get the key pad from Ranger, just call them with your serial#. I think the're about $300. Don't know if using the kill switch will hurt anything but the start button might stop working. I keep a back up plug-in key switch in my boat just in case. I got it on ebay for $30 or $40 cheap insurance.
