Went to the lake for 30 mins to see if the bass were biting after the recent rains... caught 2 largemouths on a Culprit curtly tail worm red shad color Fished the area behind Lemmon ave bridge, LOTS of timber in the water after the rain ☔️ Wish I could've stayed longer, there was a ton of shad being scared out of the water

The fishing should be great. They have aggressively been stocking Bachman with bass for years.

There is a guru of Bachman lake that may chime in.....knows the lake probably better than anyone....nice catch..

Thanks, Fellas  Water was pretty murky, maybe half a foot of visibility when looking down from the shore

Try dragging a craw across the the bottom. Dark colors after a rain (black & blue or black & red) or watermelon for other days. It might surprise you!

There is a guru of Bachman lake that may chime in.....knows the lake probably better than anyone....nice catch.. I'm just waiting for Rudy to chime in, "that's nothing special at all for Bachman!" Good fish though; will need to go and try it out. Always find myself driving past it.
