If the Cross isn't muddy than more than likely Caney or Soldier creeks aren't either since Caney is basically the Cross anyways!

JD,

Great report...

Honestly I have been waiting for the weather to warm up a little before I start hittin' it...

Then you'll see the boat hooked up to my truck...and I will be after them...

Heck the last several days...you have seemed to be towing your boat all over the place...well everytime I looked out the window of my store you were either head up or down 120 or headed over to highport!!!!!LOL>...

Shouldn't be long before the number's we are use to catching returns! smile

J.J.

Solder creek was not muddy yesterday -- VERY muddy on the Texas side --- really a big difference --- wonder how long its going to take for the mud to settle

also at the Wills bridge it is even more muddy today than Friday -- must be still lots of mud coming in

Did a ton of scouting today ( Tues) Water at 8am was muddy all the way to TI point and half way across to Soldier creek. Behind the islands was like chocolate milk.
The mud comming down the washita got bad about at Willow springs.
Good clear water north of the 70 bridge inside Little glasses and filled with fish. All of the creeks North of the car bridge were full of clear water comming out of each.

Then on me way back to the dock a very strange thing seemed to occur.. the water I went thru in the morning from TI back towards Highport seemed to have cleared.. seriously.. like a cloud lifted from the sky... I swear it was muddy at 8am and then at 2 pm was almost clear.. just slightly stained..very odd for sure. It was like being in the twighlight zone...

scouted a bunch of new water today with mixed results.. caught fish in all the creeks north of the car bridge that had clear water running out.. Then got a few more near Platter flats... Marked a bunch at the Dam but didnt fish-em... in 90 foot of water..
I've got a long stretch comming up and my old water just hadnt been producing like I want it to.. so off to find some new honey holes smile
