I'm in the market for a pellet grill. After researching some, I am realizing there are many different brands/manufacturers. Please chime in here and let me know what brand you have and pros/cons. I would like to have one that holds it's temp well and is well built. Any suggestions?

Bought the Camp Chef SE Pro on sale. So far just smoked a pork butt, came out great. Camp Chef has a High Smoke setting that puts out a good amount of smoke.

I bought a Louisiana Pellet and got a great deal on it. It's got twice the cooking area than Treager. My third burn was a brisket and after nine hours that brisket was to die for. Compare cooking areas and prices. I'm very happy with mine and glad I didn't buy a Treager. I buy my pellets off Amazon, free shipping.

A CONVERTED 22" OLE SMOKEY..........by way of a heating element near the bottom and the 12 inch "TUBE" for pellets.

Aren't pellet grills cheating a little? stir I mean, all you do is set it and come back hours later and your cook is done. No skill required. No risk.

A stick burner, on the other hand, is a man's smoker. Requires constant monitoring, adjusting, and guess work. You sweat for 12 hours over a brisket often ending up with about 5lbs of edible Q. You aren't an accomplished smoker until you've burned or undercooked hundreds of dollars of meats. Just my 02.
