Washers have a sanitize setting? Didn't know that. The only way I'd throw poop diapers in one is if I fisrt boiled them outside for 30 minutes.
I'll say Whirlpool brand is my top pick for any woman tools. Random pic We have a high pressure sprayer to remove the solids into the toilet What's wrong with using Pampers?

Whirlpool and damned sure don't get a front loader. Maytag, and get the simple ones without the computer board. The basic Whirlpools are good too. Kenmore, Whirlpool and Maytag all come from the same place. Kinda have it narrowed down to a Maytag or Kenmore that are both on sale. LSS we looked at speed queens and they are expensive for the limited features. Whirlpool makes Kenmore and Roper all the same She uses cloth diapers on the baby so she wants the sanitize setting. Used it a lot on the last 2 kids with the LG front loader we have. It's going out after 10 years of faithful service.

She uses cloth diapers on the baby so she wants the sanitize setting. I thought that was what the HOT water setting was for, or does the SANITIZE setting boil them at 212*?

My dishwasher has a sanitize setting, best I can tell all it does is run the wash cycle twice as long as usual.

So is baby [censored] "common bacteria found in home laundry"? I'm still confused about this. I guess you use bleach, right?

I would look on-line for best, but I know it will probably be an LG or Samsung. I then would go to Sears and they will usually have them all there and the best one will be the Kenmore Elite, or an LG with the Kenmore name on it. We bought one for the Texas house Kenmore Elite or whatever its called and went to Sears for NM Home recently didn't want to spend as much $$ and bought the Frigidare I think, it is fine. Always a Top loading washer. The Sears people are usually pretty good and they have all of them there, so when you look at the Kenmore Elite you can see what it really is. CNET

We bought a Samsung front load set against my recommendation to go to a top load set. Cost about $1300 for the set. About 40 days after we bought it, Samsung came out with the recall for exploding washers. Ours wasn't fixable since it had the mid-mount control panel, so our only choices were to take their $200 rebate towards a new washer that wouldn't match our dryer or to accept the risk of it hurting someone in our family.
I called Lowes and they took the set back for a full refund and we bought a Whirlpool top load set. It cleans better and doesn't smell. That gets my vote.

I was with Whirlpool 23 years. Yes, today they own Maytag and they do make a lot of the Kenmores. Buy Whirlpool and buy a top loader with an agitator. Don't buy anybody's front loader. As to features, all you need is three cycles, three water levels and three wash and rinse temps. Rotary dials instead of push button controls. Have fun!
