I can testify--back of Bigfoot Slough.

What WTA said will catch you a lot of fish. Only thing I might add is keep a swim bait or clear spook out for when schoolers pop up. Despite all the stripers and sandbass in that lake, the bass will school regularly, but they're up and down really fast.
As far as that stringy hay grass stuff, I've caught some fish in it but haven't really seen them gang up in there.
Don't be afraid to fish the main lake now, for years after the golden algea, it seemed like you could only find fish back in big coves. It was like they were afraid to go out in the main lake. They're back out there and the average size is really good.

if you like flippin, hit the Cliffs and flip the docks. I have never had a bad day doing that, just gotta find where they are specifically in the slips.
